SHOCKING ACCIDENT.—On
Tuesday last, as John Aprice, of Desborough, carrier, was bringing his waggon down Harborough street, at a time when an auction sale was taking
place, through the negligence of the carrier, the horse knocked down the
son of Mr. Holloway, a youth about eight years of age, and the wheel
went over part of his head. He was instantly taken up and carried home
by his father, and although the injury is of a fearful character, hopes
are now entertained of his recovery.
