SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF

WIFE OF THE REVd JOHN HENRY HOWLETT, M.A.
AND DAUGHTER OF MR ROBERT BRATTLE.

SHE DIED FEBRUARY 1st 1813 AGED 31 YEARS.

ROBERT HOWLETT, THEIR YOUNGEST CHILD,
DIED DECEMBER 22d 1812, AGED 4 MONTHS

AGED 13 YEARS

 

Mary Brattle was the third known child of Robert Brattle and Sarah Cork. She married John Henry Howlett in 1807. They had three children, two of who are commemorated here. Their surviving son, named after his father and also a vicar, lived to the age of 85 - you can read his obituary here. John Henry Howlett junior also had a son in Holy Orders: Henry Howlett.
