Elizabeth Stanyon was born in 1800, the daughter of Matthias Stanyon and Sarah (ma (maiden name not yet known).

The stone looks as if it has been re-used. There is a date of 1778 visible between the lines containing "Elizabeth" and "daughter". It's possible that the line reading "Aged 23 Years" actually relates to the original headstone.
