parentage is not clear from the censuses as the 1891 census describes her as the
granddaughter of George
Thorpe and Mary Marlow,
whilst the 1901 census describes her as their daughter.
Alfred was the son of
William Deacon Tailby
and Amelia Rose Mee.
Alfred and Olive married in 1903.
