Notes:
If this is attached to the correct James and Martha Marlow,
they had been married less than a month at this date. Their
first child, James, was baptised three weeks later, on the 19th
January, and buried on the 22nd January, both at Desborough.
They had a daughter, Jane, baptised at Desborough in 1822, so it
looks likely that they were able to obtain a settlement
certificate from Countesthorpe that enabled them to remain in
Desborough. See the case of David Kidney
which gives documentary evidence that this could happen.
James' parents Edward and Jane Marlow were the subject of a
removal order to Rothwell in 1824
The removal order was entered on a printed form.
