Northamptonshire To wit.
WE Christopher Rowlatt & Mark Plumb Church-Warden and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Corby in the County of Northampton aforesaid, do hereby own and acknowledge
Robert Marlor and Alce his Wife to be Inhabitants legally settled in the parish of
Corby aforesaid. In Witness whereof, we have hereunto
set our Hands and Seals, this thirtieth Day of September in the 12th Year of the
reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the 3d by the Grace of God, of
Great-Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender
of the Faith &c. And in the Year of our Lord 1772

To the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish
of Desborough in the County of
Northampton or to any,
or either of them.
WE whose Names are hereunto subscribed, two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Northampton
aforesaid, do allow of the above-written Certificate. And we do also
certify, that Lebeus Ginns one of the Witness who attested the Execution of
the said Certificate, hath made Oath before us that he did see the
Church-Warden and Overseers, whose Names and Seals are to the said
Certificate subscribed and set, severally sign and seal the said
Certificate, and that the Names of the said Lebeus Ginns and Thomas
Marlor whose names are
above-subscribed, as Witnesses to the Execution of the said
Certificate, are of their own proper Hand-writing.
Dated the Thirtieth Day of September aforesaid in the Year of our
Lord 1772
