WE the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Brigstock in the said County, do
hereby certify, own and acknowledge Stephen Bland and Ruth his Wife to be Inhabitants legally settled in the
Parish of Brigstock. In witness whereof we have hereunto
set our Hands and Seals the Twentyseventh Day of December in the Year of our
Lord 1770.

To the Parish Officers of Spaldwick in the County of Huntingdon
WE whose Names are hereunto subscribed, two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Northampton
aforesaid, do allow of the above-written Certificate. And we do also
certify, that William Viccars one of the Witnesses who attested the Execution of
the said Certificate, hath this Day made Oath before us that the
said Justices, that he did see the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor, whose Names and Seals are
hereunto subscribed and set, severally sign and seal the same; and that the Names of the said
William Viccars and of John Adkins, whose Names are
subscribed as Witness to the Execution of the said
Certificate, are respectively of their own proper Hand-writing.
Given under our Hands the Twenty Eighth Day of December in the
Year of our Lord 1770
