In pursance of a late Act of Parliamt Entitled an Act for
supplying some defects in the Land for the reliefe of the poor
of this Kingdom Wee the Church Wardens & Overseers of the poor
of the Parish of Old als Wold in the County of Northton (whose
hands & seales are hereunto sett & subscribed) doo hereby
Certify to the Church Wardens & Overseers of the poor of the
Parish of Desborough in the aforesd County of Northton that
Richd Yorke Labourer & Sarah his wife late of our sd parish are
Inhabitants legally settled in our sd parish of Old als Wold And
further pursuance of the sd Act doo hereby oblidge ourselves
Church Wardens & Overseers of the poore of the parish of Old als
Wold aforesd & our Successors for the time being to receive &
provide for the sd Richard Yorke & Sarah his wife & their
Children (which were borne within the Parish of Old als Wold)
whenever they or either of them shall become chargeable to the
sd Parish of Desborough or be found to aske relief therein In
testimony whereof Wee the Churchwardens & Overseers of the
parish of Old als Wold aforesd have hereunto sett our hands and
seales this Sixth day of November in firth yeare of the reigne
of our Sovereign Lady Anne over England &c Queene Defender of
the Faith. Annoq Dni 1706
