				Northamptonshire To wit at the Generall Quarter Sessions of 
				the Peace of our Soveraign Lord the King held at Northampton in 
				and for the said County Tuesday the week next after the Feast of 
				the Epiphany of our Lord to wit the Eleaventh day of January in 
				the Tenth year of the Reign of our Soveraigne Lord George the 
				Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland 
				King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the Year of our 
				Lord 1736.
				Whereas William Hanbury and Laugham Rokeby Esq Two of his 
				Majestyes Justices of the Peace in this County one of them being 
				of the Quorum have made then[?] Order under their hands and 
				Seales in these words and figures following or to the like 
				Effect (to wit)
				Northamptonshire to witt To the Churchwardens & Overseers of 
				the Poor of the Parish of Desborough to [???] & to ye  
				Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of ye Parish of 
				Brampton to receive & observe 
				Whereas Complaint is made unto us (being two of his Majestyes 
				Justices of the Peace and Quorum [???] for ye said 
				County of ye Division) by you ye 
				Churchwardens & Overseers of ye Poor of ye 
				said Parish of Desborough that William Cooke & Mersey his Wife & 
				Thomas Abraham & William their Children are inhabiting in your 
				said Parish of Desborough to gain their Settlement therein not 
				bringing any Certifficate owning themselves settled nor by any 
				way Qualified to gain their Settlemt & are likely to become 
				chargeable to your Parish of Desborough contrary to the Statute 
				in that Case made, & we ye sd Justices of ye 
				Peace having now Examined ye sd William Cooke on his 
				Oath touching the place of his Lawfull Settlemt & also the 
				Overseers of ye Poor of Desborough aforesd touching ye 
				sd Complaint we thereby adjudge that ye sd William 
				Cooke & Mersey his wife Thomas Abraham & William their Children 
				are or are likely to become Chargeable to ye sd 
				Parish of Desborough & that the last place of their Lawfull 
				Settlemt is in the Parish of Brampton abovesd 
				these are therefore to require you ye sd 
				Churchwardens or Overseers of ye Poor of the Parish 
				of Desborough or some of you forthwith to Convey ye 
				sd William Cooke & Mersey his Wife Thomas Abraham & Wm their 
				Children to the Parish of Brampton abovesd to deliver them to ye 
				Churchwardens or Overseers of the Poor thereof or to either or [fragment 
				missing] (together wth this order or a true Copy hereof) 
				who are hereby required to receive them [fragment missing] 
				provide for them as their Parishioners as the Law in that Case 
				doth direct of which [fragment missing] not to faile 
				under the Penalty of five pounds
				Given under our hands & Seales this Eight day of November & 
				in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred & Thirty Six 
				And whereas noe Appeal hath een Entred at this Sessions in this 
				Court against the said Order And the Inhabitants of Desborough 
				aforesaid by [???] Doctor Attorney at Law on [their] behalf 
				Praying this Court that the Order above recited may be 
				Confirmed, This Court doth Order that the Order above recited be 
				Confirmed And the Same is hereby Confirmed Accordingly
