To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the parish of Desborough in the County of Northampton |
We John Marshall and William Dunckley Churchwardens of the parish of
Braybrook in the County of Northampton and John West and Thomas Bull
Overseers of the poor of the said parish Do hereby Certifie the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Desborough in the
aforesaid County of Northampton that William Hodgson Taylor, now Resident in
Desborough aforesaid is an Inhabitant Legally settled in our said parish of Braybrook and we do hereby obliege our selves Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the parish of Braybrook aforesaid for the time being and our
successors to Receive and provide for the said William Hodgson and his Wife
and family which he now hath or which hereafter he shall or may have
whenever he she or they shall become Chargeable to the said parish of
Desborough or be forced to ask relief therein. In testimony whereof we the
said Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Braybrook
aforesaid have hereunto subscribed our names and sett our Seals the Nine and
Twentieth day of July in the Third year of His Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord
George by the Grace of God of Great Britain France & Ireland King Defender
of the Faith &c. Annoq Dom 1717.
