On Tuesday, July 27th, 1841, at the Swan Inn, in Desborough, at Seven
o'clock in the Evening, upon such conditions as will be then produced,
ALL that substantial stone-built and slated old-established PUBLIC HOUSE,
eligibly situated at
DESBOROUGH aforesaid, and known by the name of the SWAN
INN, containing good cellar,
brewhouse, two large parlours, bar, tap room, kitchen, three chambers,
two attics, together with yard, stabling, piggeries, and garden, well
planted with thriving fruit trees.
A considerable business has been carried on a long time by the
present occupier, the proprietor of the same, who is retiring from
business.
Part of the purchase money may remain on the premises, and immediate
possession may be had, if required.
Desborough is a very populous town, situate six miles from Kettering,
and five from Market Harborough, where conveyances and wagons pass
daily.
