Auction of Crops and Land, 17th Aug 1795

On Monday the 17th Day of this instant August, at Two o'Clock in the Afternoon, at Mr. Richard Haywood's, the King's-Arms Inn, in Desborough, in the County of Northampton, under such Conditions of Sale as shall then and there be produced, and together or in Lots, as shall then and there be agreed upon,

A Very fine CROP of BEANS, now growing in a Close in DESBOROUGH, aforesaid, containing about eight Acres, lately occupied by Mr. Francis Kilborn.

Also, An exceeding fine CROP of WHEAT, now growing on about six Acres, Part of another Close in DESBOROUGH aforesaid, likewise lately occupied by the said Francis Kilborn.

Also, A very good CROP of BARLEY, now growing on about three Acres, other Part of the last-mentioned Close;—and

A CROP of GRASS, of about an Acre, now also growing in the last-mentioned Close.

And, To be LETT by AUCTION, at the above-mentioned Inn, immediately after the above Sale, under such Conditions as shall then and there be produced.

About THIRTY-FIVE ACRES and A HALF of fertile ARABLE and PASTURE LAND, in DESBOROUGH aforesaid, lately occupied by the said Francis Kilborn, and of which the Land whereon the above-mentioned Crops are growing, is Part.

For further Particulars, apply to Mr. John Beale, of Little-Ashby, in the County of Leicester, Grazier; or to Messrs, Harrison and Sheppard, Attornies, in the Town of Leicester; and for a View of the Crops to be sold, and the Land to be letten, apply to the said Richard Haywood.

N.B. The Crops are to be paid for at the Time of Sale; and a sufficient Security will be expected for the due Payment of the Rent, and proper Management of the Land.
