NOTICE TO
CORRESPONDENTS.
We have received a letter from Mr. S. Thompson, Jun. of Desborough,
distinctly denying a charge of bribery brought against him in a letter
published in the Northampton Herald, signed "J. H. Revis"--an agent of
the Conservative party at Rowell. Mr. Thompson's denial was addressed, a
fortnight ago, to the Herald, which, as usual, refused to insert the
contradiction of a slander, to which it had so readily lent its columns.
