Note: Elizabeth Palmer was the wife of Charles Palmer; her
sister Jane was married to Charles' brother Dixon. The latter was the
manager of the local Gas Company and he and his family lived in Station
Road, Desborough. It seems likely that Elizabeth had come to Desborough
with her youngest son (named after his uncle) to visit her sister.
