Damage to trees, 1860

John Andrews, Thomas Smith, John Jarvis, James King, and Richard Morris, all of Desborough, were charged by police-constable Dunmore, with having, on Sunday, the 23rd of September, entered a wood, commonly called "Loatland Wood," belonging to John Tollemache, Esq., for the purpose of gathering nuts, and thereby doing certain injury to the trees.

—All the defendants pleased guilty, and they were fined 8s. 3d. each, damage and costs.
