Edward Cole, John Morris, and Alfred Morris, three boys of
Desborough, charged with damaging a field of standing corn, belonging to
Mr. S. Kilburn, of Desborough, on Sunday last,
pleaded guilty, and were
discharged with a caution on payment of 2s. 2d. each expenses.
Northampton Mercury,
Saturday 08 August 1868
Note: I have made the assumption that the two Morris boys were
brothers; the two identified were about 12 and 10 years old in 1868, which
would seem a reasonable age for them to be referred to as "boys".
