The following Prisoners are to take their Trials at our Assizes,
which being on Tuesday next, viz....
—Thomas Loake and Alexander Coe, charged on the Oath of
Henry Coleman,
of Desborough, Farmer, with stealing two Flaxen Shirts from off a Hedge
belonging to his Premises at Desborough.
—The said Alexander Coe and
David Coe,
charged on the Oaths of
George Sumner
and John Apriece,
with a strong Suspicion of having feloniously entered the Parish Church
of Desborough, in the Night of the 6th or 7th of June, and stealing
thereout one Table-Cloth, two Napkins, two Pewter Flagons, one Silver
Cup and Cover, one Salver (supposed to be Silver or plated with Silver)
a Pewter Salver, and two Pewter Plates.
—The said
David Coe and
John Hulbert, charged on the Oath of John Loake, of Desborough,
Victualler, with breaking into his House, on the 6th of April last in
the Night, or early in the Morning of the 7th, and stealing thereout a
Flitch of Bacon and a Quantity of Pork, Value 30s. which they have
confessed.
—Joseph Andrews, for being found wandering in the Parish of
Desborough, and assaulting and threatening Thomas Warrington and Thomas
Ginns, Persons ordered by the Constable to assist in keeping Watch in
the said Parish; and not giving a good Account of himself when taken
before a Justice.
