Inquest, 20th October 1849
SINGULAR ACCIDENT.—On the 20th another inquest was held by the same
Coroner [T. Marshall, Esq.], at Desborough, on the body of Samuel
Andrews, aged 17, who came by his death under the following
circumstances:
—While receiving on his back a sack of wheat from a cart, from which
the horse had been taken, Andrews fell, apparently through being over
loaded, and, striking his head against a bolt in the axletree, a wound
was inflicted, of which he almost instantly expired.
Verdict—Accidental Death.
