Proceedings of a Regimental Board held in conformity to the Articles of War for the purpose of verifying and recording the Services, Conduct, Character, and cause of Discharge of William Rawthorne of the

Fourteenth Regiment of Foot

  William Rawthorne appeared, and the Board having personally examined and compared the Regimental Records, the Soldiers Book, and other documents, report to the following effect.

Born in the Parish of Desbro' in or near the Town of Desbro' in the County of Northampton. by Trade a Weaver

Attested for the 17th Regiment of Foot at Dublin in the County of Dublin on the 4th May 1813 at the Age of Seventeen

Service which he is entitled to reckon after making every deduction required by His Majesty's Regulations, up to the 26 November 1832 is Twenty Eight Years One hundred & Twenty Eight days the details of which as extracted from the Regimental documents are stated on the following pages.
